At Madison we want to make parent involvement easy and fun. The Community Resource Center can accommodate you with: 

  • Reading books for check-out.
  • Suggestions for setting up a successful home study area.
  • Establishing school routines.
  • Food and clothing assistance provided upon availability.
  • Assistance in filling out forms for various community services.
  • Meeting room for parents where young children can accompany you while you volunteer or while we help you.

Whether it is academic, personal, or financial, let me help guide you to the many resources that are available. I look forward to meeting you all!

Because of the continuing economic situation, we are continuing to collect the following supplies for families.  

  1. Non perishable foods/canned goods -- Peanut Butter, Tuna Fish, any canned goods.
  2. Toiletries -- shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, combs, brushes, etc.
  3. New socks and underpants - for all ages and sizes for boys and girls.
  4. Backpacks and school supplies.

About Me:

My name is Tammy Villarino I have been working with Mesa Public Schools since 2012 in different positions while pursuing my degrees. I graduated last year (2020) from The University of Phoenix with my bachelor’s degree in human services with a concentration in child and family services. I am currently enrolled in Grand Canyon University for masters in mental health counseling with a concentration in childhood and adolescent disorders. I enjoy working with children and families and it is my passion to help those in my community. I am happy to be working here at Madison Elementary School as the new Family Support Specialist.
