We appreciate your interest in the premier Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies, where students in grades 5 through 9 are provided an academically challenging and socially engaging experience. The 2010 - 2011 application process is now open. Applications are due to the Mesa Academy no later than Friday, February 19th to be considered in the initial application review process. All applicants who submit an application after this date will be placed on our waiting list, and will be considered for enrollment in the future, should a seat become available. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Arizona’s Instrument to
Measure Standards (AIMS) test scores*
• Letters of Support from the
student’s current teacher(s)
• Most recent grade report card
• Completed application packet
*A copy of the student's most recent AIMS test scores (or similar standardized test) must accompany the application.
The Letter(s) of Support should be provided to the child’s teacher(s). For elementary students, one Letter of Support should be given to the classroom teacher and if applicable, a second letter of support to their ELP teacher. For secondary students, two Letters of Support will be needed – one from the math teacher and another from the English teacher. Please do not attach any Letters of Support to the application as your child's teacher(s) will send thIs letter to the Academy.
