Mr. Tom Mitchell
In order to alleviate confusion, please know that Language and Literature and EN 15/16 refer to the same classes. Language and Literature is the IBO MYP designation and EN 15/16 are those of MPS. They both stand for Language Arts (EN15 or EN16 are the designations for Mesa School's Honors Language Arts.)
It's hard to believe that we are finished with the 2017-2018 school year. We say goodbye to our 8th graders and hello to our new students as thoughts turn to 2018-2019. Time does, indeed, keep on tickin'.

I have taught all grades from 4th-Graduate Level in college. I served as a principal for a number of years and found that the call to teach, again, was too strong and returned to the classroom 20 years ago. I have, since, been teaching Language Arts to 7th and 8th Graders.
My theatrical experience goes way back to Rapid City, South Dakota, where my parents were involved in the Community Theater. If the cast called for a 'kid', I was elected. I began acting at the age of 4 in Sleeping Beauty and have maintained my love of theater: acting, designing and constructing sets, lighting, and directing in my teaching and administrating career.
