I have been a speech pathologist for Mesa Public Schools for 23 years. I love my job! The kids at Adams are so wonderful.....I wouldn't trade the opportunity to work with them for any other school!

I started my life in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where my parents worked for an oil company. By the time I was 15, I was off to boarding school in Michigan, since there were no American high schools in Arabia. I have two children, Walker and Robin,  who were adopted from Korea as babies. Walker is studying business at ASU and Robin is a busy-body high schooler.

I got my B.S. and M.S. in speech therapy from ASU. (I aslo have a M.A. in counseling from University of Phoenix.)

I work with students with articulation, fluency, language, and voice disorders at Adams and at Rhodes Jr. High. I like to make therapy dynamic and engaging by using art, literature, thematic units and games to improve expressive and receptive communication skills.

Please feel free to contact me at Adams at any time if you have concerns regarding your child's communication skills.
