English is all about communication!
In this class we will continue to learn to communicate in English through reading, writing, listening and speaking. As we become more skilled in these areas, we allow others to understand us more clearly, thereby becoming better communicators.
We will also participate in PACT. This is where you learn alongside your child as well as help them in the classroom. Then you can take these skills and use them at home to help your child succeed in school.
Plan to give your best everyday to succeed. You can count on having homework to practice your skills or to finish up a piece you have crafted, however I am available to help you both during and after class on most days.
I say that progress is growing a little bit everyday. That is how we meet our big goals...a little at a time.
I am looking forward to helping you meet your goals whether it is to help your child in school, to learn more English to get a job or a better job, to continue your education and get a GED or a college degree, or to just get along in life a little easier.
