Biography

I received my Bachelor of Music Education B.M.E. at Wichita StateUniversity in 1991 and my Masters of Education M.A.E.D. in 2002 at the University of Phoenix.  I have my full ESL endorsement and am certified in Orff-Schulwerk Level One.

I have been an adjunct professor at Mesa Community College and Glendale Community College.  I currently work as an adjunct professor at South Mountain Community College.  I have presented at the National Music Educator's Conference (MENC) and have taught several courses for Mesa Public School Summer Institute.

I teach general music to students at Johnson Elementary and Lowell Elementary.  I also enjoy directing the Johnson Jayhawk Choir as well as the Lowell Roadrunner Choir.  Students participating in choir practice after school one day a week.  Performances vary,  but each group performs at least two school programs during choir season.
