Lines and Complementary Colors

Students looked at paintings that used mostly complementary color, then selected a set of complementary colors plus black and white to paint with. They were to start by drawing at least 5 kinds of lines and then fill in areas with as many colors as they could mix. They added patterns or drawings on top. Tempera paint.
