Grade 6 - Fantasy Birds

Sixth Grade students explored the art element of color to create these paintings of fanciful birds. After drawing an original bird, each student painted the bird by using only the primary colors (red, yellow, and blue). The other colors were made by mixing the primaries together. When the paint was dry, students used black markers to add interesting details to the birds.
