Grade 6 - Positive-Negative Mummy Cases

Students created these symmetrical mummy cases by using cut paper. They discovered that the positive spaces were of equal importance in creating their design. Upon completion of the cut/paste portion of the lesson, a variety of Egyptian patterns, symbols, and hierglyphs were used to decorate the case.
