Grade 5 - Old Troll Collage based upon the play "The Troll and the Unearthly Noise"

Students listened to a reading of the play "The Troll and the Unearthly Noise". Then then recalled the emotions and charactreristics of the troll play and incorporated them onto their collage. Students learned the process of creating a collage by cutting, tearing, and glueing construction paper and wallpaper for the shapes of the old troll in the foreground, cutting a rocky hill in the middleground and paitning an analogous colored sky in the background. The final results are creative interpretations on an old troll!
