Abstract Portraits - Grade 4

Students experimented with the art element SHAPE and learned how to cut symmetrical and congruent shapes. They arranged two symmetrical shapes and two congruent shapes on a line of symmetry. By adding eyes, eyebrows and mouth, the students transformed the symmetrical design onto an abstract face.
