Street Beat - Grade 6

Students learned about expressive lines - lines that are calm and lines that are active. They viewed famous artworks and identified the active and calm lines in the compositions. Then they analyzed a variety of music for active and calm qualities. Each student created expressive lines that represent music coming from a car's sound system as it passes by on the street. Students had customized their cars in a previous lesson.
