I Can Hear You Dancing! - Grade 4

Students listened to a variety of music (Can-Can, classical and Mexican) and compared artwork that was inspired by this music.   Student volunteers then danced and moved to the music while students quickly drew gesture drawings. Students next applied correct proportion to create realistic bodies and costumes that reflect the dancers' movements.   Lastly, students created the environment for their dancers and added color to bring the dance experience to life.   Can't you hear them dancing? Oil pastels.
