Biography
I have enjoyed teaching elementary Art for Mesa Public Schools since 2000. I attended the University of Arizona and Midwestern State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I also earned certification in Special Education from the State of Texas. Before joining the Creative Arts Department at Mesa Public Schools, I taught Metalsmithing in the Odessa College Art Department and elementary Special Education in both Texas and Arizona. My current students include fourth, fifth and sixth graders at Bush, Guerrero, Highland, Lowell and Whittier Elementary Schools. In my free time, I enjoy painting and photography and spending time with my family.
