American Government - available from the publisher online are chapter summaries and self-quizzes. The student can take the quiz online, and get instant feedback, including why an incorrect answer was wrong and what the rationale for choosing the correct answer is. The chapter and section summaries can be copied and pasted into ReadPlease if necessary. This link to the publisher, is for the 2001-3 text. Choose the "student section" on the left, top. In addition to the material listed by chapter, you may want to scroll down to the "resource center". The "online skills tutor" is a nice auditory and visual tutorial of higher-level thinking skills, like identifying points of reference and analyzing images. The video library contains interviews (also auditory) with scholars on topics related to the text, providing a more current perspective, as well as a taste of what a college lecture might be like.
