HDHP Medical Plan Options

An Introduction to Health Savings Accounts

Mesa Public Schools offers two High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) options with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).  Employees have the option of enrolling in one of the HDHPs with a HSA.

HSAs put individuals and families in charge of some of their own health care spending and offer tax benefits to both their owners and to employers who choose to contribute to them.

The details of how a health savings account (HSA) works and the benefits it can provide can be explained with four simple words: deposit, grow, save and pay.
