MPS may take advantage of the Short -Term Disability program and Long-Term Disability Plans.
Short-Term Disability Plan (STD)
STD benefits help replace lost income if you cannot work because you are totally disabled due to a non-work accident or illness, including pregnancy. Employees purchase STD coverage based on their salary. STD benefits begin the first day of an accident and on day eight for Sickness and pregnancy. The maximum length of STD coverage is 26 weeks. Long-Term Disability Plan (LTD)
