Mesa Public Schools is anticipating a change in the Arizona Immunization Law for the upcoming school year beginning in August 2007. To prepare for this requirement, all students who are at least 11 years old and have not had a tetanus booster shot within the last 5 years will need to have the new Tdap immunization to begin school. In 2004, there were more than 25,000 cases of pertussis in the U.S. More than 8,000 of these cases were among adolescents and up to 2 in every 1000 adolescents with pertussis were hospitalized or had complications.

   9:30 am - 5:30 pm
3. Mesa Fire Department 830 S. Stapley Dr. Fire Station #2 2nd Wednesday of each month
   5:00-7:00 pm
