If your child has a severe allergy requiring administration of an epipen, come by the Health Office.   A special health care plan will be completed by you and the nurse.  The nurse or the health assistant would administer the epipen if required.  It is stored in the Health Office. The epipen would be sent on all field trips.  Teachers will also be trained to administer the epipen.  All appropriate staff will be made aware of your child's allergy and action plan in case of exposure.

If it is a nut allergy that your chiid has, the classroom will be made nut-free, and letters sent home to all the parents of students in the room. Tables are designated in the cafeteria as nut free also.
