SEASONAL FLU--free vaccine at school

The Centers for Disease Control has recommended all
persons of school age be vaccinated against the seasonal flu.

In response to this recommendation, Brinton usually has a free flu vaccine clinic for all students in October.  This may be available each year depending on funding to the Maricopa County Health Services.   If your child did not get seasonal flu vaccine at school and is without insurance or is on AHCCCS, you can get one free at  the Apache Junction Health Office, 565 N Idaho Rd, Apache Junction.  The hours are  8-6 PM, Wednesday thru Friday.  You must arrive by 5:30 PM to get vaccines.  Bring your child's immunization record.

It is also free at Mesa Immunization Clinic at 625 E. Broadway Rd. in Mesa.  Hous are  8-5 PM. Monday, Tuesday Wednesday,  and Friday, closed 12:00-1:00 for lunch.  If you have insurance, bring your card and the clinic will bill your insurance, but there is no charge for you.
