Biography

Hello!  My name is Cindy Berenter and I am on the 2nd grade team here at Brinton. I graduated from Arizona State University in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education  Prior to that, I taught preschool for 11 years. I have worked with children my entire adult life and have always felt that teaching was the best career I could possibly hope for! I have been teaching elementary school for 11 years, 10 of which have been spent in Mesa Public Schools.

I moved to Arizona from Michigan in 1989 and have loved it here ever since...I don't miss the winters at all! I am the proud Mom of two beautiful daughters. Allie is 11 and in 6th grade,  and Katie, who is 10 and in 5th grade. Allie is mildly Autistic, so I am naturally an advocate for Autism Awareness. Allie, Katie, my husband Steve and I live here in East Mesa.

I love teaching at Brinton and cultivating relationships with families that will last a lifetime. I look forward to working with you and your child!
