A little about me...

I began my teaching career in 1990, at Nautilus Elementary School in Lake Havasu City.  I taught there for one year and moved to Mesa and began substituting.  I substituted for Mesa Public Schools and Tempe School District for six months before I began working at Eisenhower Elementary in January of 1992.  I finished out that year teaching fifth grade.  I stayed at Eisenhower, teaching fourth grade, through May 1993. In August of that year Kerr Elementary was opening and I taught fourth grade there until May of 1997.  During these years I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education,

I was able to be a stay-at-home mom for about seven years after I had my twin girls, and then another girl. I came back to the classroom in August 2004, at Robson Elementary, teaching fourth grade.  I taught at Robson for ten years teaching fourth and then fifth grades. During these years I earned an SEI Endorsement and a Reading Endorsement.

I moved to Brinton Elementary in August 2014. I am so happy to be here at Brinton Elementary! I work with top-notch educators!  The students, parents and staff here work well together, and the students are our #1 priority.  I am looking forward to working with parents and students on another super year!
