ACUITY

Acuity is a learning-based assessment system adopted by Mesa Public Schools to help teachers monitor student progress in achieving state standards, to target instruction in alignment with the state standards, and to help teachers predict student performance on the AIMs test at the end of the third quarter.

The district administers three standardized assessments that help predict student performance on the AIMs test.  These assessments are usually paper and pencil tests that also help simulate the experience of taking a test like the AIMs.

We utilize the online aspect to target specific skills in math and language arts.  Acuity at Home provides every student an individual login and access to teacher-assigned study activities and tests.  The assigned activities are to help students improve his/her skills and are for general review of more intense standards.  With Acuity at Home, students can access their study activities at home to advance their skills and learning.  Please call Mrs.  Hall for your child's login and password.
