Hello and welcome to Brinton Elementary School’s web site! It is my privilege to be employed by Mesa Public Schools and to be part of educating the children in the City of Mesa. I have strong ties to Mesa and the public school system, because I have lived and worked in Mesa for most of my life. Transplanted from the state of Ohio in 1971, I attended Mesa Junior and Mesa High School. After graduating from Mesa High School I moved on to Arizona State University and received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Social Studies. My first teaching assignment was at Pomeroy Elementary School where I taught fourth and fifth grade. During the ensuing years I taught at a variety of schools and in several grade levels including kindergarten, second, fourth, fifth and eighth grade. I continued my professional education by completing a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement. Most recently, I finished my doctoral studies at Arizona State University in Educational Supervision and Leadership. Along the way my husband and I raised three daughters who also benefited from receiving their education in Mesa Public Schools. It is my profound wish to be of service to students, parents, and teachers in my capacity as an administrator here at Mesa Public Schools. I hope your experience at Brinton is a positive one and if I can be of any help please contact the school office to speak with me.
