The English Language Arts Department provides support for grades K-12 in the content areas of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, and Language for Mesa Public Schools. Support is offered through a wide range of services and resources including creating and providing professional development classes, revising curriculum and assessments, and developing materials to support the curriculum standards. District based content specialists and site based specialists work together with principals and school staff to enhance curriculum, instruction, and assessment at the school site and to ensure consistency and continuity throughout the district. |
