Bush Broadcasting System

BBS broadcasts the school announcements live every morning
for students and staff to view on TV.

Each day a different team of students produces the news show.

There are many important jobs on BBS:

Camera: Sets up and runs the camera and equipment.

Director: Enters the announcements and graphics into the computer.

Producer: Runs the equipment in the back room to broadcast the news. Updates the daily news slide show on the computer.

TVs: Turns on TVs throughout the school so everybody can view the news.

Reporter: Writes and presents a weekly report.

Anchor: Reads the news.

Photographer: Takes pictures and downloads them to the computer.

Manager: Makes sure that everyone is doing their job. Fills in when students are absent. Keeps records.

To become a BBS crew member, students fill-out an application and audition the second week of school.
