*On Reading Buddy and Media Center days, morning work and story time will be switched.
Reading buddy with Mrs. Simpson's class is generally the third Monday of the month. Media Canter is every other Tuesday. We also have activities Buddies with Mrs. Hutchins class on one Wed per month.
1 st Semester (we will focus on these things and more)

Coloring skills
Colors: red, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange, brown, black
Write and recognize name (Cap first and then lower case)
Trace lines, numbers, shapes, some letters

Phonemic awareness and pre-reading:
Engine sounds (First sound of a word)
Understanding the main parts of a book: Cover, spine, front and back
