Extended Learning Program

ELP is a program designed for the top 3% in the areas of Verbal Quantitative and Non-Verbal. The curriculum addresses seven strands of higher level thinking. The seven strands are Critical Thinking Skills, Literary Analysis, Communication Skills, Creative Problem Solving, Research Problem Solving, Mathematical Reasoning and Personal Development. At Barbara Bush ELP, this site base program interprets the curriculum with five classes. They are: Verbal Development, Math Lab, Computer Applications, Integrated Unit and Literature. Our classes follow the philosophy of a hands-on approach. Our learning adventures explore sea to space, past, present and future, with site experiences to enhance our study.
