Fifth Grade First Quarter In the Fifth grade they are taking off while they study Flight and Space. They are also going to be going back in time to the early Native Americans. The fifth grade teachers are enforcing study skills by teaching students to use dividers and daily assignment calendars to keep the students organized and get them ready to go to Jr. High School. In geography the fifth graders are going to be studying about the 7 continents and the 4 oceans. Second Quarter In the second quarter they are going to be going on a balloon trip as all of the fifth graders become explorers. They are also going to focusing on mysteries as they do mystery powders in science. The fifth graders are going to learn all about how the stock market works. Third Quarter In the third quarter they are going to be going back in time to colonial America and learn how life was back then. In science the fifth graders are going to be studying animal classification. Then they are packing their bags for their trip to Tonto Rim Science Camp. 5....4....3....2...1 blast off, the fifth graders are going to be taking a field trip to Salk to do the flight simulation and learn all about helicopter and Air Planes.
