Bangladesh Cyclone
  • Cyclone- a large-scale storm system with heavy rain and winds that rotate.

Where did it happen?
  • The very large tropical  cyclone happened at Bangladesh. Bangladesh is in between India and Thailand

When did it happen?
  • The horrible incident occurred Nov. 12 1967

How did it happen?
  • High winds hit Bangladesh with huge waves, which made the cyclone.

What were the damages?
  • No one really knows how many people died because so many people got swept to sea. It is thought to be about half a million people died.

Could this disaster have been avoided?
  • I do not think this disaster could be avoided .The cyclone was a form of nature.
  •     If they knew a little  before they would have taken casualties.

What has happened since the disaster?
  •  People have been renewing the country of Bangladesh.
