- The San Francisco Earthquake has
been known as one of the most significant earthquakes of all time.
- Earthquakes have always been known as one of the most powerful events on
Earth.

- The San Francisco Earthquake was around the San Francisco bay area. It
had a sufficient force to be felt widely throughout the San Francisco
bay area.

- The San Francisco Earthquake was on April 18 and ended on the 19 of
1906.

- The earthquake happened because the shaking of the ground caused by the
sudden breaking and shifting of
large sections of the Earths rocky outer shell.

- The Earthquake damaged many buildings to where there was just debris all
across San Francisco.
- It killed about 3000 people.225,000 were left homeless.

- San Francisco has had a few aftershocks now and then but nothing has
been as large as the San Francisco Earthquake.

- San Francisco could have avoided the earthquake by evacuating the people
and if not at least of had them
prepared. Now if San Francisco had an earthquake not as many buildings
would have fallen because now they have made their buildings stronger.
