- INTRODUCTION
- The Great Depression or the
stock market Crash was devastating around the whole world especially the
U.S. People lost there jobs home
and money.
3
- It happened all over the world but it was especially bad in the US. But it was also terrible in Germany
but we are mainly focusing on the U.S
4
- The Stock market Crash happened on
October 29, 1929 or Black Tuesday.
- It lasted till 1941 about when WW2 started.
5
- The stock market crash caused the depression.
6
- Now it wasn’t like the Titanic or anything where many died but people
still died. But many people were unemployed and lost their
homes. Some people died of starvation
7
- We think that this could’ve been avoided because they weren’t very
careful with there money and afterwards weren’t very optimistic with the
loss.

- People have been very careful when buying stocks and spending money, and
some people who lived during the depression are very paranoid about
there money and food supply. Some
people only bathe once every week because of the way that they were
impacted by the depression.

- Some things that had happened in other countries during the depression.
- In Germany: the events around the world hit Germany and it was beyond
there control, they wanted to find a way to get out of it and that is
when Hitler rose and took power.
- In Japan the exports dropped over 50%.
And there were over 3 million unemployed.
- These are only some countries that suffered from the depression.
