- In may of 1937 a major disaster occurred the largest zeppelin in the
world caught on fire and exploded at Lakehurst New Jersey with 36 people
dead.

- The Hindenburg Explosion occurred at 7:25, on the sixth of May in 1937.

- The exterior material was so flammable a single spark of static
electricity would set it on fire. So a spark from an unknown source set
it burning like dry leaves.

- There was a total of 61 people on the Hindenburg. When it exploded 36
people died.
