1989 when oil barrels fell from the back of a cargo spilling more than
53,00,00 gallons of oil into the Prince William Sound.

because this ship had one layer of a hull and the oil barrels rolled
when the ship was moving out and broke the hull (Back of the ship) and
spilled into the Prince William Sound.

4,000 sea otters and the spill posesed threats to a delicate food chain
that supports Prince William Sound’s fishing industry. Also in danger
were 10 million migratory shore birds and several variaties of whales.

chances.
