- The titanic was a British passenger ship on its first voyage, it was
struck by an iceberg and sunk. A total of 1,517 passengers died that
night. Only 750 survived.

- The Titanic sank in the Atlantic Ocean. It was located 13 miles
south-east of the last distress call. It was finally discovered in 1985
