Click Here for the Third Grade TeacherWeb Page The third grade learns thematically with the study of habitats being the main focus. We explore the habitats of insects, reptiles, birds, and mammals during the year. Students read literature by various authors, including Roald Dahl and Beverly Clearly. Third graders also make an annual trip to The Phoenix Zoo to observe habitats and animals. In May, the third grade will invite parents and classmates to a Culmination Presentation. Students look forward to sharing what they have learned throughout the year.
