Two students work on their assignments in the library.

Hours:  7:00-3:30, Monday-Friday

Passes:  Passes are required during class.
Passes are not required before or after school, or during lunch.

Bottled water is OK; however, food and other drink are not allowed.

IPODS, cell phones, and other electronic devices
are not allowed during class time.

Computers
The library has 23 computers available for
school-related use only. Applications include:
the card catalog; subscription databases; Microsoft Office and Publisher; and the Internet.  Students may not use computers for personal research,
playing games, downloading, or others items determined by library staff. Students must display
their current student ID to use the Internet.  Printing is limited to 5 pages per student. Students may save work to their account on the school's
U drive or a jump drive.  Inappropriate use may result in the following:  verbal warning, temporary and/or permanent ban from use, and/or referral to the Principal's office.

Library C
omputer Lab 
The computer policy mentioned above also applies to the
computers in the lab. The lab has 33 computers equipped
with the same applications. Students may save work to
their U drive or on a floppy disk.


Material Check Out
A current student ID is required to check out books or
back issues of periodicals or magazines. There is no limit on
the number of books checked out. The check out time period
for books is two 2 weeks and for periodicals it is 24 hours. 
There is no fine for overdue items UNLESS they are lost or damaged.
No additional check out is allowed to students who have overdue items.


Periodicals

The library subscribes to over 50 current events & popular
interest magazines including: Playstation:  The Official Magazine,
Dirt Bike, Shonen Jump, Guitar World, Super Street and Seventeen.
The library also subscribes to 3 daily newspapers.  Current issues
of magazines and newspapers are on display in the leisure reading area.
