The Study Skill Assignment Calendar is the index to the student log and will be checked. Prime communication between the parents and me will be through the Assignment calendar, and the student will responsible for keeping up tp date.

Ample time will ne given to complete each assignment.  Advance arrangement must be made for late work.  Late work is due to illness will  taken at the rate of one day missed between the assigned date and due date.

Students must obey all schools rules (Stapley Student Handbook)

Students must be on task and be perpared for each class.

Grading Scale according to percentages

100-90%= A

89-80%=B

79-70%=C

69-60%=D

59-0=F

Course outline for Introducation to Art

Perspectice Unit   One and two dimensional artwork.  Students will take notes and complete worksheets and a final drawing.  At the end of the unit students will be tested.

Line Design:  Basic elements of design and provide exposure to a variety of media abd techniques of drawing.

Color Theory:  Painting will introduce students to the basic techniques of painting such as color scheme,

mixing color.

Art Gistory: Reading articles as Gauguin, Cezanne and Van Gogh.  Students will watch a week long video on Vicent Van Gogh life.
