I was born in LaPorte, Indiana to parents Diane and Rudi Prusa. I graduated from New Buffalo High School, and later Western Michigan University. I substitute taught during my last 3 years of college.

I love teaching. To me this is the most fulfilling profession. I enjoy every day here at Stapley. 

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, writing, painting, playing sports, swimming, motorcycling, reading, and enjoying nature.
