Welcome Students and Parents/Guardians!

I am excited about another adventure-packed year at Stapley Junior High.  My name is
Mrs. Metz and I am fortunate enough to teach my FAVORITE subject, reading!

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing my enthusiasm and passion for reading. Throughout the year, we will be discovering interesting new authors and many different types of novels and nonfiction books.  We will also checkout books from our school library twice a month, complete unique and creative projects, develop important life-long reading skills and
have tons of fun along the way!
