My Mission Statement

As the Instructional Specialist of Stapley Junior High School, I believe that continuous professional growth should be the goal of all educators; that such growth should take place at least as much in the area of pedagogy as in one's content area; that professional growth comes about most successfully in a shared decision-making, openly articulated atmosphere where professionals can interact freely with colleagues in planning, developing, and implementing instructional strategies that improve the chances of success for all students and teachers.  To those ends, I dedicate myself to creating opportunities for all teachers to interact with their colleagues, learn from one another, guide one another, and access information that is pertinent to those goals.
