Welcome to Spanish class! I am very excited to be at Stapley this year! This is my fifth year with Mesa Public Schools, but I started my teaching career in 1993 and have taught Spanish to grades 5-12.  I have traveled to Spain, Mexico, and Puerto Rico end enjoy sharing those experiences with my students through pictures, videos, and stories.

I have very high expectations in my classroom. My intentions are to not only prepare my students for the next level of language learning, but also to provide them with strategies and work habits that can help them throughout their education. I invite you to join us in the classroom to see this structured, yet fun and interactive environment.

On a personal note, I am a Chicago native and the mother of two. I am an activist for autism awareness and hope to bring a better understanding of this disorder to anyone who will listen, especially doctors and educators.

Please contact me anytime if you have questions or concerns, or if you are available to volunteer in the classroom. I am looking forward to working with you this year!
