SUPPLIES
composition book, pocket folder or divider, spiral notebook,
2 pencils with erasers, black or blue pen, red correcting pen or marker,
1 or l-1/2" binder with at least 30 sheet protectors
CALENDAR
It is the responsibility of the student to keep an accurate and up-to-date calendar.
The web page calendar will be updated periodically to coincide with the classroom calendar.
LATE ASSIGNMENTS
Two late assignments will be allowed per quarter for partial credit,
maximum grade 70%. Assignments and grade at teacher discretion.
ABSENT MAKE-UP WORK
It is the responsibility of the student to get assignments, notes, and make-up tests.
Students must arrange for test make-up within the week of return.
TEXTBOOKS
Textbook(s) will be issued through the bookstore. Charges for damaged or lost books will be
assigned at the end of the school year. Report cards will be held until the charges are resolved.
GRADING
Grades will be posted in the classroom by Student ID number.
Grade reports will be sent home periodically. The report must be signed and returned
immediately for points.
CLASSROOM RULES
*Students are expected to be in their assigned seats when the bell rings.
*Students must remain in their seats at the end of class and will be dimissed by the teacher, not the bell.
*No gum or electronics are allowed in class.
*Students are responsible for assignments, supplies, appropriate language and behavior.
*Students must follow all school rules as described in the Stapley Student Handbook.
CONSEQUENCES
1st Violation Verbal warning
2nd Violation Seat assignment changed, isolation from other students, removal from classroom
3rd Violation Behavior note sent home, telephone call to parent, and/or detention
Continued or Severe Disruption Immediate referral to office
