A portion of the description from our Stapley Mission statement reads, “Our school’s purpose is to educate all students to high levels of performance.  Through fostering appropriate attitudes of truth, trust, respect and responsibility, our students will be motivated to become lifelong learners and productive members of our society.”  This is a wonderful guiding statement that we are using to improve on several elements of our school program. In education we identify with a scientific principal that states ‘nothing ever stays constant, programs are either improving or declining.  The Stapley Junior High program will remain in a state of continuous improvement through a variety of means.  Incorporating technology, like this newly established web site, into our program is just one of the improvements we are looking to implement.  Stay tuned throughout this year for more information our improving program.

I am sure that you agree Stapley is a terrific school.  There are so many exciting things happening here on a daily basis that brings a smile to our students’ faces as well as high levels of learning into our classrooms. The short-term goals at Stapley are to make sure student’s needs are being met every day and provide resources to the classrooms to enhance the teaching and learning experience.  Other plans include providing more shade covers for the outside dining areas on campus, creating organized lunch time entertainment throughout the year, ensuring the grounds look spectacular, creating and enhancing and interactive web site for Stapley, and investing time and resources into maintaining and growing our academic programs.
