MRS. EVANS’ CLASSROOM RULES
- Before the bell rings, get pencils sharpened and textbooks from the bookcase, if needed for English and Intro and every day for French II. If you need a pencil during class, raise your hand.
- Move directly to your seat at the ringing of the bell. English and French II students are to begin warm-ups immediately.
- Raise your hand to speak, and please wait to be called on.
- A maximum of one bathroom pass can be issued each day and only to students who request one before the bell rings.
- Gum, food, and drink are off-limits, except water.
CLASSROOM PROCEDURES
- Paper collection – All papers except tests are to be passed to the center of the classroom where the teacher will pick them up.
- Class will be dismissed by the teacher approximately 20 seconds before the bell. Please wait for dismissal before packing up or returning any books to the bookcase. Please remain close to your seat until the bell rings. Do not gather at the door.
- When you are absent, check the assignment calendar and the folder.
- Please use this heading when you need one: NAME, ENGLISH/FRENCH, PERIOD, DATE.
