Mrs. Rita R Wagner

Born in Torrington Wyoming on June 10, 1955 to Harold and Donna Wunder. I have two brothers one older and one younger. Raised in Scottsbluff  Nebraska, but moved to Blair Nebraska two weeks before my senior year started. After graduating from Blair in 1973, I attended Eastern Wyoming Junior College in Torrington Wyoming receiving an Associate of Arts Degree. Moving back to Nebraska I received by Bachelors of Science Degree from Chadron State College in Chadron Nebraska. I became certified to teach Physical Education K-12, Music K-12, Health 7-9 and finished with a coaching certificate for Basketball, Track, Gymnastics, and Softball.

I began my teaching career in Wallace Nebraska in January of 1978 teaching General Music, Chorus, and Band. After leaving Wallace I moved to Shoshoni Wyoming where I taught General Music, Chorus, Band and assisted coaching Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Track. During this time I attended the University of Wyoming where I received my Master of Arts Degree in Music Education.

In June of 1986 I moved with my husband and two boys to Mesa Arizona to begin teaching with the Mesa School District. I taught at several elementary schools, spending 14 years at Lindbergh Elementary before moving to Stapley in 2000..
