Classroom Rules

Stapley Mission Statement

The staff, parents and community of Stapley Junior High believe all students can learn and achieve mastery of essential skills. Our purpose is to create a safe learning environment where all students can achieve high levels of performance. A positive learning environment is generated by fostering attitudes of respect and responsibility. Through academic performance and school participation, students can be motivated to become lifelong learners and productive members of our society.

Absences:

Parents are required to notify the school if a student is going to be absent.

Absence excuses can be left 24 hours a day by dialing 480-472-2785.

Address and Phone Number Changes:

Parents should notify the school promptly of any changes.

Checking out of school:

Students may only be picked up from school by parents or other adults identified on student emergency cards.  Once students arrive on school grounds, they are not to leave without checking out properly through the office.

Behavioral expectations:

Individual student behavior is guided by each student’s IEP as defined in section E. “Special Considerations” under Behavioral Needs.  If an individual behavior plan is not listed, students will be accountable to the classroom, school and district rules and consequences.
