Educational Stuff
I attended Arizona State from 1983 to 1989 and majored in History. After completing my degree, I attended NAU and earned my M.Ed., majoring in English and Education. This summer, I completed my Ph.D., majoring in Communication and hope to apply these skills to further writing projects. I also teach History at MCC, one night a week and write for the Arizona Republic. My articles can be seen in the Chandler section; I now have my own editorial column.

My daugher Haley is five and attending kindergarten this year in Kyrene. My dog Stogie is still causing trouble and annoys me daily with his need for walks and treats. Labs are great dogs but they know how to pester you! I still love to collect old soda stuff and have been selling quite freqently; I have discoverd a nice market throughout Europe. Finally--now that I've turned 40, I'd like to buy an old muscle car, reverting back to my youth. The only problem--it has to be a convertible, so the cost is out of control!
