Carson is a closed campus and students must remain on campus, during lunch. All students are expected to remain in the established lunch areas during their lunches. Students must have a pass to leave the lunch areas during their lunch time.

My School Bucks
Say goodbye to sending cash and checks to the school cafeteria by creating a secure online account with MySchoolBucks. The Food and Nutrition Department is pleased to announce the availability of a new service that will provide you with an easy and convenient way to send breakfast and lunch money for your children attending Carson Junior High Schools.
MySchoolBucks provides you with a direct link to your student’s school using internet access. Users will be charged a flat $1.95 for each transaction (transaction based on per school site basis). Now you can put money on your child’s meal account with the click of a button.

Carson’s Cafeteria has an excellent work program. Student workers must be 14 years of age, have an A/B average in classes, especially Math, have less than eight absences for the school year, and have an available elective. Working 8th graders will receive a grade. All earn a salary of $10.00/hour, a complimentary lunch, and fundamental job experience. If you are interested and meet all the requirements, see Ms. Ortiz in the cafeteria.

Junior High Breakfast is free for all students at Carson. Lunch prices are $2.75 per day or $13.75 per week and $.40 a day or $2.00 per week for those students whose families qualify for reduced-price meal benefits.
