I have lived in Arizona for 25 years; I am originally from Guanajuato, Mexico. I was an English Language Learner when I came to Arizona . I made the decision  to become a Spanish/AVID teacher. I use my life stories to motivate my students about learning and to encourage them to continue educating themselves.This will be the beginning of my thirteenth  year teaching. I am very excited guide and encourage students to make positive decisions.

I have a daughter named Athena (2 yrs. old) and a son named Orion (10 yrs.old)

I have been married for 13 years, my husband's name is Adam.

I have 5 sisters and 2 brothers, I am number 6 when lined up with my siblings.

My parents retired and the moved back to Guanajuato, Mexico.

I'm just a happy, positive person.
